This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Aurora is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Aurora follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I absolutely love this place! I first visited with my family and enjoyed it so much that I came back again with a friend in the very same week. The food was outstanding, and every dish our table ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was just as impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Between the amazing food, excellent service, and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant quickly became one of my favorites. I've already recommended it to several people, and I'll definitely be visiting again and again.

This is one of the very few American brunch places that offer a wide variety for vegetarians in savoury section. The staffs were polite and courteous. Itβs spacious and suitable for large groups. We ordered their Caprese on Focaccia with a. Side of Sweet potato fries, a custome vegetarian skillet, loaded potato pancakes minus the meat, nutella crepe and sβmores pancakes. All savoury items were really great and my personal winner was the caprese on focaccia. The crepe and the pancakes were little too dry for my taste and I have had better. Overall it was a good experience.

Syrup Pancake House was a really nice experience overall. The service was greatβvery attentive, polite, and professional from start to finish. The portions are huge, so you may even want to split something depending on what you order. The space also feels very open and inviting, with high ceilings, great lighting, and decor that makes it look even more spacious. The fake plants on the walls were actually really beautiful and added a nice touch to the whole place. We got the Irishman skillet and the cinnamon pancakes, and both were delicious. We also had the organic Guatemalan coffee, and it was definitely a big step above regular drip coffeeβmuch better than the standard restaurant coffee you usually get. Definitely recommend coming here.

I'm easily displeased with customer service (lol) so I have to say I was overwhelmingly satisfied with this establishment . Very vertically integrated from the person who greeted me until I left, everyone seemed on the same page and that was to give excellent customer service. Nicely prepared hot food, the best bacon you'll ever eat, and exquisite fresh squeezed orange juice. Very busy place with a long wait, but because I was by myself, I dined at the little bar by the beverage making area. Struck up a conversation with a stranger. Very amazing food! Legendary breakfast with potatoes, billion, dollar bacon and crepes.

This may be the most perfect buttermilk pancake I've ever had. It flavor so good, just plain, and tasted even better with their sweet cream syrup. I order a side scrambled egg, the portion was large and it was also cooked perfectly. The cappuccino was a real surprise. A huge cup for $4.75. Service was quick and friendly, thank you Emy L. All the other food l saw being served looked delicious, so I'm hoping to go back soon, but I know there is no way I'll pass up ordering the pancakes.
